Am I being naive, critical or am I nit-picking when I suggest that the Chief Usurper has no conscious idea of what the "vast majority of Americans think" about any subject much less the specific question of background checks for weapons ownership?

give this a listen:   http://tinyurl.com/acos5k8

Has he had the time to do as Scripture implies:

Proverbs 18:13  "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him."

to give honest audience to any and all who may have something to say - both for and against this issue?  I've had no survey passed to me neither by email nor phone.  Have you?  Has anyone for that matter?  Has anyone that any of you know of?  I suspect we all know the answer and that results in him being shamed by his empty speech and it's counted against him as yet another blunder.

From yet another angle, he seems to discard the honorable thing for the politically expedient:

Proverbs 25:2  "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."

The only searching he's done at all, if any, is to have his minions check out the WH twitter followers for their nonsense.  There's no point in even asking his czars as he knows(and expects) they will fall into lockstep with him.  He's not scoring too high on the Scriptural Scorecard of Leadership.

In this issue, he's shown himself to be dishonorable and a blunderer who has shamed himself and his entire administration.
