A Note on Prepping...

I've been absent from here being tied up with securing certain aspects of my own prepping as well as tending to necessities at work.  In an obscure way, it has given me time to think and consider the recent advances of the difficulties most of us can sense coming.  Here are some of  my thoughts:

It seems that our world is heating up, in general. Things are further deteriorating, i.e., the montrous over-reaching state and .gov violations of our Constitution, N. Korea stomping around like a bull in a china shop. The housing market is no better than 4 years ago, inflation is steadily encroaching - check the slightly higher prices against the reduced sizing of the packaging of many products. The undeclared war in the Middle East has no end in sight.

The strain to live a simple life and merely make ends meet is getting harder to bear.

One question comes to my mind:

Are you ready for when things do finally snap? Have you taken the necessary precautions for your family and yourself that will help ease the transition from relative ease to hardship and difficulties?

Only the foolish and/or arrogant would dare to believe that they will remain "relatively safe" when the bubble bursts. A couple verses come to mind:

Proverbs 22:3 "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished."
Proverbs 21:20 "There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up."

It is becoming increasingly obvious to a growing number of people that this world cannot maintain it's current direction without there being global repercussions. Whether this is planned or not is not the issue at hand. The issue is: are you going to sit idly by and wait for it to come or will you be prepared?

Preparation is critical on 2 fronts. One being physical aspect of being ready for protracted periods of chaos and lack of essential goods. This preparation includes sources of food, water, shelter and other physical items needed to sustain yourself and those with you - to include armed protection.

The other front being your spiritual preparation. You may currently hold the belief that "you're ok". My point is that if the fight came to your door this very hour, could you with all confidence know that you would meet your Creator in assurance of faith? If not, you are not prepared in the most critical way.

I would urge you to receive the peace with God for your soul and eternity that has been provided through Jesus Christ. This comes only and stricktly through trusting Him as your personal Savior. No other way will do. Having that peace which passeth all understanding(Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.") will do wonders for strengthening your heart for and into the times that are just ahead.
